This is the perfect micro-job for local retirees, stay-at-home parents, neighbours living near our facility, or post-secondary students looking for quick, reliable daily hours that fit around a class schedule.

Core Responsibilities

- Safely meet the school bus at our facility doors during morning drop-off and afternoon pickup.
- Securely escort children between the school bus doors and our center's entrance.
- Ensure accurate attendance tracking by signing children in and out on our transition logs.
- Communicate briefly and professionally with the school bus driver and daycare staff.

Required Qualifications & Clearances: To comply with Ontario’s Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA), all applicants must possess or be willing to obtain the following before their first day of work:

- Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC):



A clean police check issued within the last 6 months.
- First Aid Certification: Current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.
- Health Clearances: Up-to-date immunization record and a negative TB test (with a physician's note confirming fitness to work in childcare).
- Reliability: Outstanding punctuality and a strong sense of responsibility, as the school bus operates on a strict, time-sensitive schedule.
- Asset: Previous experience working with children or certifications like Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) are considered excellent assets, but are not mandatory.
