About Us

Powernode Computer Inc. is a Canadian company operating multiple businesses in e-commerce, product distribution, computer hardware, automotive parts, RV and marine products.

Our Brake-X and IBS RVMarines divisions serve customers across Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a Buyer / Procurement Specialist to manage purchasing activities, develop supplier relationships and improve inventory planning for our automotive, RV and marine product lines.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily purchasing activities and supplier relationships.
- Source new products and suppliers to support business growth.
- Negotiate pricing, purchasing terms and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and determine replenishment requirements.
- Analyze sales trends, product demand and purchasing performance.
- Identify slow-moving and excess inventory and recommend corrective actions.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely purchasing, inventory availability and order fulfillment.
- Monitor supplier performance, product quality and delivery timelines.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records, product costs and supplier information.




- Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve inventory turnover.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory management.
- Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of inventory planning and purchasing processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with different departments.
- Experience with automotive, RV or marine products is an asset.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems is an asset.
- Cantonese or Mandarin is an asset.
