Techo-Bloc is seeking its first General Counsel to lead the legal operations in Canada and the U.S., focusing on risk management and commercial agreements.

This role reports directly to the CEO and offers you the unique opportunity to establish the legal function from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of legal experience and a solid background in governance, acquisitions, and compliance. Youll manage diverse legal issues while building relationships that support both operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
• Advise on corporate transactions and strategic initiatives
• Draft and manage commercial contracts and agreements
• Oversee litigation and resolve significant disputes




• Enhance governance practices and reduce legal risks
• Collaborate across departments to align legal and operational strategies

Requirements:
• Law degree and active membership in a Canadian law society
• 7+ years in legal roles, with corporate law exposure
• Effective communicator with senior executives
• Experience with risk management and compliance matters
• Bilingual capabilities in French and English are a plus

Lead and shape Techo-Blocs legal direction by providing sound, pragmatic legal advice.
