We are seeking a dynamic and personable Rental Agent to join our associated company AVIS. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with clients and facilitate rental transactions. Prior administrative experience and familiarity with sales management tools will be advantageous in this position.
Duties
- Greet prospective customers and assist them with rental inquiries at the front desk
- Negotiate rental terms with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers, including online listings and promotional materials
- Handle phone etiquette professionally when communicating with clients
- Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence/rental applications
- Light maintenance duties ensuring cleanliness of vehicles, office, and building grounds
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or front desk operations preferred
- Proficiency in computers, data entry,
and basic marketing techniques is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, including negotiation and phone etiquette
The successful candidate will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships with clients while supporting the operational needs of our rental team. This role will require working indoors and outdoors. A valid G drivers licence is required. The schedule for this full time position requires Saturdays; the successful candidate can choose their preferred day off Monday through Friday to fulfill a 5 day work week.
Hourly wage will start at $18-20/hour depending on qualifications.
