Action Restoration Services has been proudly serving Humboldt and surrounding areas for over 25 years. We specialize in full-service renovations, rebuilds, and restoration projects. Our team is dedicated to high-quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional results for residential, rental, and commercial properties.

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, and experienced in residential/commercial renovations.

Responsibilities

As a Carpenter at Action Restoration Services, your duties will include:

- Carpentry & Finishing Work: Install doors, casings, baseboards, trims, and other finishing details with precision.
- Drywall & Finishing: Perform insulation, vapor barrier installation, drywall hanging, taping, mudding, sanding, and surface preparation.
- Painting: Prep and apply paint to walls, ceilings, trims, and other surfaces.
- Framing & Renovations: Assist with framing, room layout adjustments, and other structural carpentry as required.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company standards for durability, safety, and aesthetics.
- Site Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work setting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects on schedule.

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience in carpentry,



renovations, and finishing work.
- Skilled in drywall finishing (tape, mud, sand) and painting.
- Strong knowledge of insulation and vapor barrier installation.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and measurements.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Schedule & Benefits:

- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Overtime available—but only if you want it!
- Most jobs are local to the Humboldt area
- Occasional overnight travel may be required (but it’s rare)
- Full-time or part-time positions available—we’re flexible!
