Pacific Peaks Builders is looking for reliable people to join our growing residential construction company.

We are currently interested in hearing from both:

- Apprentice carpenters / construction labourers
- Experienced journeyman carpenters

Our work is primarily residential renovation and exterior carpentry throughout Victoria, Sooke, Mill Bay and surrounding areas.

Type of Work

Projects vary from job to job and may include:

- Deck construction and repairs
- Exterior stairs and railings
- Fences and gates
- Pergolas and exterior structures
- Siding, soffit and fascia
- Rot repair and structural repairs
- Framing
- Doors and windows
- Interior and exterior finishing
- Concrete preparation and small concrete projects
- Demolition and site preparation
- General residential renovations

This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys variety rather than doing the same task every day.

Apprentice / Labourer Position

We are looking for someone who is dependable, physically capable and interested in learning the carpentry trade.

Previous construction experience is an asset but not necessarily required for the right person.

You should be comfortable

- Working outdoors in different weather conditions
- Lifting and carrying construction materials
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Keeping job sites organized and clean
- Taking direction and learning new skills
- Working efficiently as part of a small crew

Someone looking to begin or continue a carpentry apprenticeship would be a good fit.

Journeyman Carpenter Position

We are also looking for an experienced carpenter who can work independently and take responsibility for portions of residential projects.





Experience with several of the following is preferred:

- Residential framing
- Decks and stairs
- Exterior finishing
- Siding and trim
- Doors and windows
- Renovations
- Reading plans and measurements
- Layout and material takeoffs
- Problem solving in existing residential construction

Red Seal certification is an asset but practical experience, workmanship and reliability are equally important.

Compensation: Based on experience and ability.
