Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cashier/Supervisor to join our Harvey's team and help deliver fast, friendly service to every guest. This role combines hands-on cashiering with supervisory duties, including leading the crew during shifts, training new staff, and supporting daily restaurant operations. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader who stays calm during rush hours, handles cash accurately, and takes pride in food quality and guest satisfaction.

Candidates must be adaptable to work both morning and night shifts, including weekends. This position offers a great opportunity to build leadership skills and grow within a well-known Canadian restaurant brand.

Responsibilities

- Take guest orders accurately at the front counter and drive-thru, and process cash and card payments through the POS system
- Lead and motivate crew members during shifts to deliver fast, friendly service and meet speed and quality standards
- Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash counts, float setup, deposits, and end-of-day reports
- Train new team members on cashiering, food preparation standards, and customer service expectations
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are followed at all times
- Handle guest questions and complaints promptly and professionally
- Monitor inventory levels,



assist with stock counts and receiving deliveries, and report shortages to management
- Support management with scheduling, shift coverage, and onboarding of recent employees
- Keep the dining area, counter, and kitchen organized, stocked, and guest-ready

Requirements
- Must be available for both morning and night shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience in fast food, restaurant, or customer service; supervisory experience is an asset
- Solid communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently and stay calm in a fast-paced environment
- Food Handler Certificate is an asset (or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong math skills for cash reconciliation and accurate order handling
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are an asset
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented, with a positive attitude
