Chef (Specialized in Turkish Cuisine)

Mangal Kebab House is looking to hire four chefs specializing in Turkish cuisine for the upcoming current branch.

Duties and Responsibilities

They should know how cook Turkish food and will be able to serve approximately 1500 people on the weekend.

- Prepare and cook Turkish dishes according to authentic recipes and quality standards.
- Design and update the menu with a focus on traditional and contemporary Turkish cuisine.
- Manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Monitor food stock and place orders as needed to maintain inventory.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management to plan and coordinate special events and catering services.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and continuously improve cooking techniques.

Educational and Training Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field. Cook certificates are also acceptable.
- Specialized training in Turkish cuisine
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a chef, with a focus on Turkish cuisine.





Language Requirements
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Knowledge of Turkish language is a significant advantage.

Wage, Raises, Bonuses, Perks, and Benefits
- Starting salary: $36.00 per hour and min 30 hours per week
- Overtime starts after 50 hours per week
- Potential raises based on performance reviews.
