I am looking for a reliable, patient, and compassionate caregiver for a child , who is on the autism spectrum. He is very loving and thrives with structure and consistency. This role involves morning and evening care during weekdays, as well as full-day care on weekends.

Position: Permanent, full time

Location: Coaldale, Alberta

Hours: 30 hours per week

Wage: $20.00 per hour

Language: English

Responsibilities include

- Supervise and care for child
- Prepare and serve meals
- Assist with dressing, bathing and personal hygiene
- Assist with toileting
- Organize activities, play and outings
- Support emotional well-being and social development
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Light housekeeping and laundry related to child care




- Transport child to and from school/daycare and appointments
- Follow established routines and instructions

Requirements:
- Experience with children is an asset
- Experience with autism or special-needs children is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence
- First Aid/CPR
- Criminal record check and vulnerable sector check
- Reliable, patient, organized and caring

Work is performed in the employer’s private home in Coaldale. The schedule may include early mornings, evenings and weekends. Pay: $20.00 per hour
