G&R; Kelly is looking for an experienced and dependable Class 1 or Class 3 Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to work independently while also being a team player. This is a hands-on position where drivers may also be required to assist with general jobsite duties when they are not operating the truck.

Requirements - Valid Nova Scotia Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence - Valid Air Brake Endorsement - Valid Float Endorsement - Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience - Clean and satisfactory driver’s abstract - Ability to safely load and secure excavators and other heavy equipment onto a float without assistance - Knowledge of Halifax and surrounding areas - Strong knowledge of safe driving and equipment-handling practices - Ability to work safely and efficiently in a construction environment - Willingness to complete a criminal background check - Reliable transportation and dependable attendance The successful candidate will:

- Work well as part of a team - Have a positive, can-do attitude - Be reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious - Be comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment - Be willing to help with general jobsite duties when not operating the truck - Be capable of working independently and taking direction when required - Have good knowledge of local roads, construction sites, and gravel pits - Take pride in maintaining equipment and keeping the work area safe and organized - Be available outside of regular working hours for emergency work, nights, and weekends as required Compensation & Benefits $28.00 per hour Full-time employees are eligible for:
