About the Role

As a Client Care Representative with Medigas Manitoba, you’ll be one of the first people our clients connect with, whether they’re walking into our clinic, calling with a question, purchasing equipment, or looking for support with their ongoing respiratory care.

This is a people-focused role that brings together customer service, healthcare administration, sales, and problem-solving. You’ll help keep the clinic running smoothly while making sure every client feels welcomed, supported, and confident in the care they receive.

No two days will look exactly the same. You might be welcoming a new client, coordinating with our Sleep Therapists, processing an equipment sale, completing a resupply order, updating patient records, or helping someone figure out what they need next. You’ll be comfortable shifting priorities throughout the day, making decisions within the scope of your role, and taking ownership of the client experience.

You’ll also play an important role in helping clients understand their equipment and purchasing options. This means listening to their needs, explaining products clearly, making appropriate recommendations, and confidently supporting sales conversations while keeping the client’s needs at the centre of the experience.

This role is primarily based at our Kenaston Medigas clinic in Winnipeg, with occasional coverage at our 150 McPhillips Street Medigas clinic. Travel is very limited; however, you may be requested to travel to our Brandon Medigas location on rare occasions when additional coverage is required.

What You’ll Do

- Be the first point of contact for clients visiting or calling our clinic, creating a welcoming, compassionate, and skilled experience.




- Support new and existing clients throughout their care journey by answering questions and helping them navigate our services, equipment, and processes.
- Support new client intake and coordinate appointments, schedules, and updates with our Sleep Therapists.
- Facilitate the sale of respiratory and medical equipment by understanding client needs, explaining available products and options, making appropriate recommendations, and supporting clients through the purchasing process.
- Complete client resupply calls, process orders, and identify opportunities to support clients with their ongoing equipment and supply needs.
- Use sound judgment to resolve client questions and day-to-day challenges, making decisions within the scope of your role and knowing when to escalate or ask for support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information in our patient record software and other databases.
- Handle personal, medical, and financial information with a high degree of confidentiality and care.
- Work closely with Sleep Therapists and other members of the Medigas team to provide a seamless client experience.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support, including data entry, documentation, filing, photocopying, and other clinic activities.
- Participate in projects and take on additional responsibilities as required.

What We're Looking For

- Grade 12 education or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, client care, retail, healthcare, hospitality, or another people-focused environment.
- Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare environment is an asset.
- Strong customer service skills and a genuine interest in helping people.
- Comfort with sales, product recommendations, and client purchasing conversations.
- Confidence making day-to-day decisions, solving problems, and taking ownership of client needs.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and refocus when interrupted.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when working with client records, transactions, and documentation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate compassionately and professionally with a wide range of clients.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office.



Previous experience with databases, electronic medical records, or client management systems is an asset.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- A valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver’s Licence and satisfactory driving abstract.
- Ability to occasionally travel to other Medigas locations, including Brandon, when operational coverage is required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs.

Equipment You’ll Work With You’ll work with respiratory and durable medical equipment, including CPAP equipment and related supplies, as well as standard office and clinic equipment. Previous experience with respiratory equipment is an asset, but we’ll help you learn our products, systems, and processes.
