Our well-established multidisciplinary healthcare clinic in Thornhill is seeking a professional and experienced Front Desk / Medical Receptionist to join our team.

As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.

Responsibilities

- Greet and assist patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Coordinate daily scheduling using the clinic scheduling system
- Create, organize, and maintain patient records
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Perform general administrative duties including scanning, filing, copying, and correspondence
- Support practitioners with administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area




- Assist patients with simple rehabilitation exercises (training will be provided)

Required Qualifications

- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with common office software
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong Assets

- Previous experience working in a healthcare clinic
- Experience with insurance claims, direct billing, and third-party insurance processing
- Ability to speak Farsi
- Experience using clinic management software

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
