Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate and program a variety of CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines, including CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, to produce precision parts and components. Your mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and expertise in machining will ensure the highest quality standards are met while maintaining efficient production workflows.

Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and program CNC machines such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and CNC programming techniques.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate parts.
- Use precision measuring tools like calipers and micrometers to ensure components meet quality standards.
- Maintain machine calibration, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Utilize Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to optimize machine performance.
- Operate auxiliary equipment such as press brake machines, welding tools, forklifts, and hand tools as needed for material handling and assembly.
- Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), while working in a manufacturing environment.




- Assist with quality control inspections and packaging of finished products for shipment or storage.
- Collaborate with team members on continuous improvement initiatives to enhance machining processes and product quality.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of machining processes, blueprint reading, and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software like SolidWorks or CAD is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Fanuc controls, PLC systems, and press brake machines is a plus.
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and basic math skills for precise measurements.
- Warehouse experience including forklift operation is beneficial for material handling tasks.
- Basic welding skills and assembly experience are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to ensure parts meet specifications consistently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently.

Pay: $20.00-$45.00 per hour
