Full time Position

Certa Opportune Inc. is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Router Operator to join our production team. We specialize in large-format printing, signage, displays, custom fabrication, and visual graphics, and we are looking for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work.

Position Responsibilities The CNC Router Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our CNC routing equipment to produce a wide variety of custom signage, display, and fabricated products.

Responsibilities include

- Set up and operate CNC routing equipment safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret production drawings, cut files, and job specifications
- Load and position materials accurately on the router table
- Select appropriate tooling, router bits, speeds, and feeds for different materials
- Perform tool changes and basic machine setup
- Check finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality
- Troubleshoot cutting, tooling, and material issues
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Keep the CNC/router area clean, organized, and safe
- Work closely with our design, printing, finishing, and fabrication departments
- Assist with general production and fabrication duties when required

Materials You May Work With Our CNC department processes a wide variety of materials, including:
- Aluminum composite material (ACM)
- PVC/Sintra
- Acrylic
- Polycarbonate
- Wood, MDF, and plywood
- Foam board and specialty display materials
- Plastics
- Aluminum and other sign-making materials

Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous CNC router or CNC machining experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude




- Ability to read measurements, drawings, and production specifications accurately
- Experience working with hand and power tools
- Good computer skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
- Ability to safely lift and handle large sheets and fabricated components
- Good problem-solving skills
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and quality

Experience in the sign industry, large-format printing, fabrication, woodworking, or plastics manufacturing is considered a strong asset. Experience with MultiCam CNC routers and EnRoute software would also be an asset.
