About Position

At this time, we are looking for a skilled Roofer Helper to join our team. The successful candidate will perform the following duties:

• Load and unload materials and move them to work areas
• Mix, pour and spread tar and other materials
• Recharge/feed equipment used in the installation
• Assist roofers in installing, repairing, or replacing a variety of roofing systems
• Assist roofers in preparing surfaces of roofs for installing new roofs,
  
  
  
  vents and other ventilation systems
• Set up scaffolding and harnesses to provide safe access to roofs
• Remove rubble and other debris at sites
• Perform other duties as may be assigned

Job Requirements

• 6 months of experience as a roofer helper
• Secondary school diploma
• Must be able to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions
• Team player, client focused and flexible
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to handle heavy loads as work is physically demanding
• Positive English skills

Employment Conditions

• Permanent, full-time position
• $30.00 per hour
• 30-40 hours of work per week
• Overtime pay ($45.00 per hour) applies after 44 hours of work per week

• Work location: various company’s sites around GTA
