Shine Brite connects local businesses with vetted professional commercial cleaning companies across Southwestern Ontario and the GTA. We're looking for an experienced estimator to handle walkthroughs and quotes on an on-call basis as our volume grows.
This is an independent contractor role, not employment with Shine Brite. You set your own schedule, use your own vehicle and tools, and invoice us when an account you quoted is secured.
What you'll do
- Walk through offices, medical and dental clinics, industrial sites and multi-unit properties
- Measure the space, confirm scope and frequency, and price the job using production rates, labour and supply costs
- Return a written quote within two business days of the walkthrough
- Occasionally price one-time work: floor stripping and waxing, carpet cleaning and windows
What we're looking for:
- Hands-on experience quoting commercial cleaning, at a janitorial company, in facilities, or running your own business
- Comfort with square-footage and production-rate pricing
- A skilled manner with clients, plus a reliable vehicle and smartphone
- Availability to cover one or more of: Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, London, Brantford, the GTA
How you're paid:
- Commission only, with no cap: 10% of our fee on every account you quote that goes on to sign
- That's typically $300 to $1,500 per account, depending on the size of the contract
- We book the walkthroughs and send you the details; you take the ones you want
- Paid as we collect, usually within 30 days of the account starting
