Garcia Roofing Ltd. is a growing commercial roofing contractor looking for an experienced Commercial Flat Roofer to join our team.

We are looking for a skilled, reliable, and hardworking individual with strong hands-on experience installing and repairing commercial flat roofing systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their workmanship, understands proper installation procedures, and can work confidently both independently and as part of a crew.

What You'll Be Doing

- Install, repair, and maintain commercial flat roofing systems
- Install and work with:
- TPO
- EPDM
- Modified Bitumen
- Torch-Applied Systems
- Self-Adhered Systems
- Cold-Applied Systems
- Other commercial roofing systems as required
- Install insulation, cover boards, membranes, flashings, drains, curbs, penetrations, and roofing details
- Perform proper membrane welding, seaming, detailing, and flashing
- Complete torch-on applications safely and according to specifications
- Identify and address deficiencies, leaks, and problem areas
- Read and follow drawings, specifications, and manufacturer installation requirements
- Safely operate roofing tools, equipment, torches, welders, and other job-site equipment
- Work safely around roof edges, openings, equipment, and other hazards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
- Work efficiently with foremen, project managers, and other crew members
- Take pride in producing quality, watertight installations

What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of commercial flat roofing experience
- Strong hands-on experience with TPO, EPDM, and Modified Bitumen
- Experience with multiple commercial roofing systems




- Strong understanding of roofing installation techniques and details
- Ability to work safely at heights
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Physically capable of performing roofing work, including lifting and handling materials
- Valid Working at Heights certification is an asset/requirement depending on project requirements
- Valid driver's licence is an asset
- Experience with hand tools, construction sites, or roofing projects is preferred but not required—training will be provided
- Basic carpentry skills or handyman experience is a plus for supporting various tasks in office
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout the workday
- Familiarity with blueprint reading or willingness to learn is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, teamwork, and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, climb ladders, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions
