We’re looking for a broker who enjoys the full job: finding opportunities, earning clients’ trust, giving sound advice, and getting deals done. You’ll be responsible for developing your own business and managing your client relationships. You’ll also have colleagues, research, marketing, and technology behind you when it’s time to deliver .
The role
You’ll identify prospective clients, start conversations, and turn those relationships into assignments. From there, you’ll help clients understand their options, make decisions, negotiate terms, and complete transactions.
This role calls for consistent business development. We’re open to an established broker who wants a different place to grow, or a newer broker with the initiative to build a practice and the humility to keep learning.
What you’ll do
- Prospect for new business and build a reliable pipeline of clients and assignments
- Develop long-term relationships with tenants, landlords, and referral partners
- Advise clients on leasing strategy, market conditions, and available options
- Lead tours, proposals, negotiations, and transactions through to completion
- Keep client and deal information current in FLO, our brokerage platform
- Work with our research and marketing colleagues to prepare robust client materials
- Share market knowledge and contribute to a team that helps each other improve
What we’re looking for
- A BC real estate licence, or a clear path to obtaining one before trading
- A genuine interest in commercial real estate and the businesses behind each transaction
- The confidence to reach out, ask questions, follow up, and ask for the assignment
- Strong communication, sound judgment, and care for the details
- The ability to manage your time, take ownership, and keep work moving
- Openness to feedback, collaboration, and new ways of working
Commercial leasing experience is valuable, but we’ll also consider candidates with a strong sales background and a explicit commitment to building a brokerage career.
