A growing residential real estate development company is seeking a motivated, reliable, and hardworking Construction Crew / Landscape Labourer to join our team on a full-time basis.

This position involves working primarily at our residential development sites in London, Ontario, as well as our site in Kilworth, Ontario and occasionally Grand Bend, Ontario. The successful candidate will perform a variety of landscaping, site maintenance, and general construction labour tasks that contribute to the appearance, safety, and overall quality of our communities.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will:

- Perform a variety of landscape construction, maintenance, and site improvement tasks.
- Complete grading, planting, sodding, mulching, pruning, watering, and seasonal landscaping duties.
- Inspect development sites and identify deficiencies before they become larger maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist with general construction labour, repairs, and property improvements as required.
- Operate landscaping and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and store materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional-looking job sites.
- Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks efficiently and to a high standard.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess:

- Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, construction labour, or a related field.
- Robust problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and complete repairs or improvements independently.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and dependable attendance record.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift, carry, and move materials safely.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation to travel between job sites.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work with minimal supervision.

Preferred Assets The following certifications and experience are considered strong assets:

- WHMIS Training
- Working at Heights Certification
- Worker Health & Safety Awareness Training
- Experience operating landscaping or construction equipment
- Knowledge of general construction practices and site safety procedures
