Synergy Construction Ltd. is continuing to grow, and we are looking for a Construction Estimator to join our team in Regina.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who already has a foundation in construction estimating and is ready to take the next step in their career. You may not consider yourself a Senior Estimator yet — and that is okay.

We are looking for someone who understands the fundamentals of estimating, is comfortable working with drawings, specifications, quantities and pricing, and wants the opportunity to continue developing their skills while working alongside an experienced construction team.

For the right person, this role offers the opportunity to grow into increasingly complex estimating responsibilities and, over time, potentially develop into a senior estimating position within Synergy.

This Is a Permanent, Ongoing Role

This position is not tied to one specific construction project or contract.

As a member of Synergy’s estimating team, you will work on an ongoing pipeline of opportunities across commercial, civil and land development projects throughout Saskatchewan.

Your work will involve evaluating multiple potential projects, preparing competitive estimates and helping Synergy determine how and where we pursue new opportunities.

What You’ll Do

As a Construction Estimator, you will work collaboratively with Synergy’s estimating, project and leadership teams to support the development of accurate, competitive and well-informed project estimates.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Reviewing drawings, specifications, tender documents and project requirements.
- Completing quantity take-offs and developing material, labour, equipment and subcontractor pricing.
- Soliciting and reviewing quotations from subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
- Assisting with the preparation of detailed estimates, budgets and tender submissions.
- Comparing quotations and identifying gaps, inconsistencies or potential risks.




- Supporting bid preparation and project pursuit activities.
- Maintaining organized estimating documentation and historical costing information.
- Working with project managers and other team members to understand construction methodology and project requirements.
- Participating in site visits, pre-bid meetings and project discussions when required.
- Helping identify opportunities to improve estimating processes, accuracy and efficiency.
- Developing stronger knowledge of Synergy’s commercial, civil and land development work.
- Taking on increasingly complex estimates as your experience and capabilities grow.

Who We’re Looking For We are interested in candidates who have developed a solid foundation in construction estimating and are looking for an organization where they can continue to learn, contribute and grow.

The ideal candidate will bring:

- Previous experience in construction estimating, project coordination, project management or a related construction role.
- An understanding of construction drawings, specifications and tender documents.
- Experience completing quantity take-offs and developing project pricing.
- Solid mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to organize large amounts of project information.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and experience with estimating or take-off software.
- An understanding of construction methods, materials and sequencing.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams.




- The ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
- A desire to continue learning and developing professionally.

A diploma, certificate or degree in construction management, engineering technology, civil engineering or a related discipline would be an asset, but we recognize that strong construction knowledge can also be developed through practical industry experience.
