As one of the leading suppliers of insulated metal panels in Ontario, we do cladding work for processing plants, cold storage facilities, supermarkets and distribution centers and more throughout North America.

:

· Prepare estimates of probable costs of materials, labour and equipment, and subcontracts for construction projects based on contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings and specifications.

· Advise on tendering procedures, examine and analyze tenders, recommend tender awards and conduct negotiations.

· Conduct proactive sales calls to generate leads and identify potential customers.

· Provide product knowledge and technical information to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.

· Establish and maintain tendering processes & set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.

· Prepare cost and expenditure statements and forecasts at regular intervals for the duration of a project.

· Prepare and maintain a directory of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.

· Liaise, consult, and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors, and prepare economic feasibility studies on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.

· Perform accurate take-offs for ACM projects based on architectural plans and specifications.

· Manage and co-ordinate construction projects and prepare construction progress schedules.

· Create ACM programs through panel builder software using panel tickets.

· Create panel layout using point clouds generated from 3D Scans.

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Estimation of the quantities and quote preparation of the same.



Quantification of various elements involved in the project. Preparing rate analysis data for in-house scope of work.

· Utilize ACM panel builder software to create detailed panel layouts and configurations for projects.

· Raising RFIs, responding to supplier RFIs, co-ordination with sub-contractors and suppliers for timely delivery of work and materials.

· Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market dynamics. Provide feedback to the management team regarding market demands and customer preferences.

· Interpret point cloud data from 3D site scans to develop accurate panel layouts that reflect field conditions.

· Verify dimensions, openings, joints, and interfaces with adjacent materials against the drawings and scan data.

· Coordinate with the drafting and installation teams to resolve discrepancies before preparing shop drawings and fabrication details.

· Procurement of materials, approving sub-contractors, material finishes, quotation approval for quantity and rates, rate analysis, cost control, negotiation, purchase order, payment and payment terms.

· Right after project award via LOI/PO/ email confirmation, various responsibilities including but not limited to: preparation of contract documents, Intimating Accounts department for Bank Guarantees, Variation Orders, Payment Application to client, Sub-contractor Payment certificate, interim valuations, sample transmittal, project termination,



final accounts closing.

· Preparing a detailed costing sheet of each element involved in an inquiry. Sourcing materials from suppliers and agreeing on rates/ quantities, make sure costs don’t exceed and margin is intact.

· Liaison with stakeholders, construction directors, vendors & reporting to the management on project feasibility studies. Proposing value engineering statement for cost reduction.

Qualifications and Skills:

· Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in construction estimating and fabrication.

· Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu for reading drawings, measuring quantities, marking up documents, and preparing takeoffs.

· Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, worksheets, cost breakdowns, and maintaining accurate estimating and production records.

· Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural construction drawings, details, specifications, schedules, and addenda; identify discrepancies and prepare explicit RFIs.

· Experience preparing material takeoffs, supplier inquiries, cost estimates, and quotations for building envelope, metal cladding, ACM, or related construction work.

· Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, organization, and ability to manage multiple bids and production deadlines.

· Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, drafting, and production teams.
