About the role

Cheshire Solutions is recruiting on behalf of an established FPSO owner/operator for a Cost Engineer based in the Netherlands. The successful candidate will support cost engineering activities on a major FPSO project, as well as other projects across the wider portfolio.

Key responsibilities

- Support cost estimating, cost control and forecasting for a major FPSO project
- Provide cost engineering support to other projects within the portfolio
- Monitor budgets, commitments, change and cost trends, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
- Prepare cost reports for project management and senior stakeholders
- Work closely with project management, planning, procurement and commercial teams
- Apply cost engineering processes and standards consistently across projects

Requirements





- Proven cost engineering experience within oil & gas or offshore projects
- FPSO project experience is highly desirable
- Good understanding of estimating, cost control and forecasting methodologies
- Robust analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills, with the ability to work across multidisciplinary teams
- Degree in engineering, quantity surveying or a related discipline preferred

Location and working arrangements

This role requires regular office attendance in the Netherlands.
