Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic, creative, and experienced Dance & Fitness Instructor to lead our children's classes. In this role, you will design and deliver engaging 2-hour sessions that combine structured indoor physical conditioning with music-driven dance choreography. Your goal is to inspire children to build physical strength, coordination, and a lifelong passion for movement in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Indoor Physical Training (First Hour): Design and lead structured indoor physical conditioning programs tailored for children aged 6–12. Focus on agility, strength, endurance, and flexibility through running, jumping, stretching, skipping rope, and obstacle exercises.

Movement & Dance Integration (Second Hour): Lead music-integrated fitness and dance sessions (such as Zumba-style workouts or rhythm-based routines) that combine strength-building movements with dance choreography.

Class Management: Ensure an orderly, safe, and positive learning environment from the moment children arrive,



maintaining structured routines and high engagement.

Progress Tracking: Provide encouraging feedback and adapt lesson plans to match the skill levels and needs of the children, keeping classes fresh and exciting.

Requirements & Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in teaching children, youth physical education, or coaching.

Dance Background: Robust dance foundation, performance experience, or formal training in dance/choreography (e.g., modern dance, hip-hop, Zumba, or creative movement).

Certifications: Valid First Aid & CPR certification and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Check).

Skills: Excellent ability to break down movements for children aged 6–12, strong classroom management skills, and high energy.

Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for working with children, motivating them, and blending physical fitness with artistic expression.

Availability: Must be available to work every Monday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Richmond Hill.

Pay: $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4.0 per week
