We are seeking a highly skilled and detail‑oriented DB2 Developer (Database / SQL Developer) to join our team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions that support critical business operations. Your expertise will enhance performance, ensure data integrity, and enable seamless data management across multiple platforms. Duties & Responsibilities

- Develop, implement, and maintain database solutions using DB2, SQL, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries for maximum performance.
- Write complex stored procedures, triggers, and functions using SQL PL, PL/SQL, and scripting languages such as Shell Scripting / Bash.
- Perform database administration tasks including backups, recovery, security management, and user access control.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze data requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver scalable database solutions.
- Conduct performance tuning by analyzing query execution plans and implementing improvements.
- Support database migration projects and automate routine tasks using SSIS or similar ETL tools.





Core Responsibilities

- Database Object Creation: Build and manage tables, views, indexes, triggers, and user‑defined functions.
- SQL & Stored Procedures: Develop complex SQL queries, SQL PL routines, and optimized stored procedures.
- Performance Tuning: Analyze execution plans, resolve bottlenecks, and improve query performance.
- Data Migration & Integration: Migrate, cleanse, and structure enterprise data securely across environments.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in SQL across Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, and DB2.
- Solid understanding of database design principles and normalization techniques.
- Experience integrating database functionalities with applications (Java experience is an asset).
- Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix, shell scripting, Bash, and system administration tasks.
- Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Familiarity with SSIS or similar tools for data integration.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Pay: From $50.00 per hour
