General Maintenance Technician – Brooks, AlbertaGeneral Maintenance Technician job is located in Brooks, Alberta.JBS Food Canada ULC is one of Canada’s largest beef processors, operating four locations: the main processing facility located in Brooks (where approximately 4,200 head of cattle are harvested and processed daily), the Head Office and a case-ready plant both in Calgary, and JBS Ontario in Belleville. The Brooks facility produces a wide range of products, from boxed beef primes to ground beef, trimmings, and by-products, which are shipped across Canada and worldwide.You WillMaintain, troubleshoot and provide preventative maintenance to all production machinery.Conduct start-up procedures upon completion of maintenance tasks on machinery.Support production supervisors,



team leads and operators to reach daily targets.Keep accurate maintenance records and documentation.Follow all safety procedures in accordance with company policies.Work as part of a team to ensure all targets are met.You HaveMinimum 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance workplace preferred.Mechanical diploma or certificate; equivalent experience will be considered.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical components.Experience with hand tools, power tools and machine shop equipment.Working EnvironmentRegular exposure to work near moving mechanical parts.Exposure to wet, dry, hot, cold or humid environments, with high noise levels.Work Site Environment: Noisy, Odors, Hot, Cold/refrigerated.Earn Competitive Wage: From $27.96 to $29.45 per hour.Please note that applicants will be asked to complete a pre‑hire medical and drug and alcohol test.
