Duties

- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver freight and cargo to various locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of goods
- Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, including forklifts and trucks, to maintain optimal safety standards
- Verify delivery paperwork, obtain signatures, and document all deliveries accurately for record-keeping purposes
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in top condition
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and work areas to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or similar machinery is highly preferred
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to operate automotive repair tools for minor vehicle maintenance tasks
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and customers
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks safely
- Prior experience in commercial driving or logistics is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates
