Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Demolition Foreman to lead and oversee demolition projects from start to finish. In this dynamic role, you will coordinate daily operations, supervise crews, and ensure that all demolition activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining quality standards, managing schedules, and controlling costs to deliver successful project outcomes.

Duties

- Lead and supervise demolition crews, ensuring tasks are completed safely, on time, and within budget
- Develop daily work plans based on project blueprints, schematics, and demolition schedules
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide demolition activities
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to align activities with project goals
- Earthworks experience will be considered an asset
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore to track progress, document issues, and update schedules
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and project specifications
- Manage site safety protocols, enforce OSHA regulations, and conduct regular safety meetings with crews
- Oversee the use of construction estimating tools for material planning and budgeting purposes
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, change orders,



and daily logs using Bluebeam or similar digital tools
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials and compliance with environmental regulations

Skills

- Proven supervisory experience in demolition or construction environments with solid leadership skills
- Extensive construction experience with a solid understanding of demolition processes and techniques
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for accurate execution of tasks
- Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation and communication
- Experience with Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools to develop and manage project timelines
- Knowledge of quality control procedures to maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle
- Ability to manage budgets effectively through construction estimating skills and cost control measures
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and hazardous material handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, and stakeholders effectively
- Flexibility and positivity around changing tasks and jobsites
