Dental Assistant

Job details: We are looking for an energetic, organized and detail-oriented dental assistant to join our team here at Long Lake Family Dentistry. Our office offers an amazing and laid-back environment dedicated to maximizing the oral health of our patients. Experience: 1 year experience preferred, recent grads are welcome to apply (30-40 hours a week)

Salary: Based on experience

Role

- Welcome and seat patients
- Complete medical histories with patients
- Disinfect and prepare examination rooms
- Assist the dentists during dental procedures
- Take and pour dental impressions as well as take digital scanning impressions
- Take dental radiographs




- Perform infection control measures ( e.x instrument sterilisation)
- Order materials and maintain inventory

Requirements:
- Great customer service skills
- Proficient in writing and communication
- Able to work independently and alongside a team
- Ability to multi-tasks and adapt well to recent learning circumstances

Qualifications:
- ODAA Dental Assistant Level I or II Certification
- HARP & IPAC Certification
- First Aid and CPR Certification

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible language requirement

- French not required
