About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Ground Operations Supervisor to lead their airport operations team in Kimberley . This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of ground handling, including aircraft loading/unloading, baggage handling, passenger services, and coordination with flight crews and air traffic control. You will ensure productive, safe, and timely ground operations, manage a team of ground crew personnel, and maintain compliance with all aviation safety regulations and company procedures. This is a leadership position critical to the seamless functioning of flight operations.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct the daily activities of the ground operations team.
Ensure the protected and efficient handling of all aircraft, baggage, and cargo.
Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance, and other departments to ensure on‑time departures.
Monitor adherence to safety protocols and conduct regular safety inspections.
Train and develop ground crew staff,



ensuring they meet performance standards.
Manage resources, including equipment and personnel, to meet operational demands.

Requirements
Proven experience in aviation ground operations or airport management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
In‑depth knowledge of ground handling procedures, safety regulations, and airport operations.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Relevant certification in aviation operations is a plus.
