assisting mechanics and servicepersons and other day to day tasks as directed by the maintenance supervisor.Very physically demanding position working in adverse conditionEnsure compliance to all company, client and legislated safety policies, operating standards and proceduresUsing adequate and suitable safety equipment, including PPEReviewing safe work plans/ hazard assessment with prior to job commencement and follow all requirementsComplete equipment/ area walk-arounds, safety checks and field level risk assessments and ensure all equipment is running properlyReport any necessary or anticipated repairs to the maintenance team or supervisors immediatelyQualificationsWhat Makes You the ONEHave a valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake EndorsementMust be able to operate a standard vehiclePreference will be given to candidates with related experienceMust be a self-starterPrevious experience in the serviceperson (serviceperson) roleExperience operating forklift, bobcat and loader would be an assetAerial Work Platform (AWP) and Fall Arrest Certification would be an assetAccess to Suncor, Syncrude and Syncrude Aurora & KearlA safety-first attitudeAttentive and possess strong listening skillsHigh school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education is considered an asset.Be proficient in English, both verbally and writtenSummaryIf you are chosen to move forward in our hiring process for a site-based role,
