Job Title Receiver (Day Shift) About This Role: Giant Tiger Wholesale is looking to hire a Receiver for our 660,000 square foot distributioncentrein Johnstown, Ontario! Paste this link in your browser and check out our video here: What You’ll Be Doing: Unloading of goods in a safe and efficient manner using a counter balance or low lift forklift; Verify items received for accuracy against purchase orders (ASNs); Report quality variances and ensure accuracy in the type and quantity of received product; Enter product information into computer systems; Assign active pick locations for new products; Apply License Plate Numbers (LPNs) verifying physical quantity of merchandise with quantity indicated on the ASN; Clearly sign all transport documentation and indicate any discrepancies; Complete non-compliance for vendors who do not follow GTW’s shipping standards.



What You’ll Bring: Completion of High School. Class G2 or higher driver’s licence Successful completion of a forklift training program; Familiar with material handling equipment; Excellentcommunication skills; Self-motivated; ability to work withoutdirect supervision; Experience with or a basic understanding of personal computer is required; Voice picking or Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMOS) experience is an asset. As part of your onboarding, you willberequiredto complete three days of paid machine training and successfully obtain in-house certification. Successful machine certification is a mandatory condition of employment as it isan occupational requirement.
