We are seeking a Detailer & Programmer to join our innovative design team. This role involves creating precise technical drawings, developing detailed schematics, and develops computer numerical control (CNC) programs to guide production and manufacturing machinery. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting skills, proficiency with advanced CAD software, and experience in retail displays, store fixtures or related fields.

What you can expect

- Develop detailed drawings using SolidWorks to accurately represent project specifications.
- Create comprehensive schematics and technical documentation for construction, fabrication, or assembly processes.
- Create CNC and Laser Programs of custom displays for wood, metal and plastics.
- Coordinate scheduling of work flow in conjunction with Creative Director and Production to ensure delivery timelines are met
- Establish and set up required tooling for machining operations
- Perform quality checks on cut parts
- Manage change order requests and update drawings and part files as required




- Develop processes and standard operating procedures for efficient storage of files and production dockets
- Create production and installation drawings for in-house fabrications and approve first offs
- Liaise with Production and Prototype Teams to ensure accurate and timely fabrication

What you bring

- Experience with metal, wood and plastic CNC programming
- Extensive experience modelling and creating shop drawings in SolidWorks
- Experience with turret and laser programming would be an asset
- Minimum three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical, creative thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to make effective decisions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task with sensitivity to deadline and time management
