Job Title: DevOps Manager

Job Overview : Client is helping the client modernize and strengthen its platform ecosystem to support business growth and innovation. You will play a key role in driving platform improvements, promoting engineering best practices, and delivering solutions that enhance productivity and reliability and experience working in a Retail setting.

Devops Requirements:

- Retail domain experience is required particularly within large-scale digital, e-commerce, retail technology, or customer-facing platform environments.
- Platform engineering with robust cloud infrastructure fundamentals — Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Networking, Compute, Storage, IAM/WIF, BigQuery, Cloud Logging)
- Development proficiency in Golang and Python — for platform tooling, automation, and microservices
- GitLab — CI/CD pipelines, repo administration at scale
- Terraform — IaC authoring and management across many projects/teams




- Kubernetes — hands-on operational and architectural depth (GitOps/ArgoCD, RBAC, custom controllers)
- Team handling — proven experience managing and growing a distributed engineering team
- Experience with OpenTelemetry collector fleet management & OpenTelemetry in general
- Observability stack experience (Prometheus/VictoriaMetrics, Grafana, PagerDuty)
- Exposure to AIOps/FinOps practices
- Experience with Backstage or other internal developer platforms
