The Opportunity
We are currently looking to hire accounting students for an eight (8) month internship beginning September 2027 until April 2028.
Our Interns are exposed to a broad range of skill development opportunities and responsibilities. During your term you will:
Gain exposure to the preparation of financial statements and a variety of tax returns
Prepare correspondence, client summaries and presentations
Assist with corporate tax filings
Work with client engagement teams and build relationships and develop client service skills
Contribute to the development of current ideas and approaches to improve work processes
Learn to develop strong team-oriented relationships with coworkers
Work with coaches and mentors, dedicated to your academic success as well as your growth and development as a confident professional
Gain valuable experience working in skilled services office
Qualifications
Working towards undergraduate degree/diploma with a focus in accounting
Working towards prerequisites for admission into CPA Professional Program
A desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to successfully accept a broad range of responsibilities.
Job duties include accessing client information via CRA’s Represent a Client website. Therefore applicants must have at least one of their own Notices of Assessment available in order to register for Represent a Client.
