Vistamere Retirement Residence is seeking a reliable and efficient Full-Time Dishwasher to join our dynamic culinary team. Responsibilities

- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.

- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure kitchen areas are clean and free from food debris, maintaining a secure and sanitary workspace.

- Assisting Kitchen Staff: Aid in organizing and storing kitchen supplies and equipment as needed.

- Waste Management: Properly dispose of trash and recyclables, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and dining staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Qualifications

- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is an asset but not required.



Training will be provided.

- Skills: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary.

- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards.

- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

- Must provide a complete and current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check (including a Criminal Background Check) or be willing to obtain one.

Working Hours

- Schedule: This is a full time position with hours from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday
