Pet Care Professional – Dog Walking & Pet Sitting

Independent Contractor | Kingston & Amherstview | Monday–Friday Availability Required

Pet Parade Plus is looking for reliable and caring Pet Care Professionals to join our team in Kingston & Amherstview. We provide professional dog walking and in-home pet care, giving local pets the attention and care they need while their owners are away.

This position is a great fit for someone who is dependable, comfortable working independently, and genuinely enjoys spending time with animals.

The Schedule We Need

We are specifically looking for someone who can commit to a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, with availability between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each weekday.

Consistent weekday availability is very important for this position, as our clients rely on us for regular daytime visits.

What You'll Be Doing

- Taking dogs for scheduled daytime walks
- Visiting clients' homes to care for dogs, cats, and other small pets
- Feeding pets and following individual care instructions
- Providing potty breaks, playtime, exercise, and companionship
- Sending photos and visit updates to clients through our mobile app
- Travelling between client homes throughout Kingston & Amherstview
- Taking on overnight pet sitting assignments when available and appropriate

What We're Looking For
- You live in Kingston or Amherstview, Ontario
- You have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence




- You have at least one year of hands-on animal care experience
- You are comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and personalities
- You are comfortable using a smartphone and mobile apps
- You can successfully complete a CPIC background check
- You are dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently
- You can commit to Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. availability every week
- You understand that this is a physically active position involving walking dogs and travelling between homes

Experience in dog walking, pet sitting, veterinary clinics, kennels, daycare, grooming, farming, or other hands-on animal care is an asset.
