Responsibilities
- Support classroom activities and routines to promote a positive learning environment for children
- Assist with supervising children during play, meals, nap times, and outdoor activities
- Help implement educational programs that encourage exploration, creativity, and social development
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet individual needs, including hygiene and comfort care
- Collaborate with teachers to observe and document children's progress and behavior
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards
- Support inclusive practices by working with children with diverse needs or disabilities
Skills
- Prior classroom experience working with young children or in early childhood settings
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong teaching and caregiving skills that foster trust and positive relationships
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and development milestones
- Ability to engage children in meaningful activities while ensuring their safety and well-being
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and families
- Compassionate, patient, energetic, and motivated to support children's growth and learning
