We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator (Closing Floor Supervisor) to join our vibrant team. Responsibilities

- Supervise and support classroom staff during the closing shift, ensuring all activities are conducted safely and effectively
- Oversee daily routines including play, learning activities, meal times, and rest periods to promote developmentally appropriate experiences
- Maintain clear communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and daily updates
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, safety protocols, and organizational policies at all times
- Lead by example in implementing inclusive practices that accommodate children with diverse needs or disabilities
- Manage classroom organization, including materials, supplies,



and documentation to ensure a smooth closing process
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment

Requirements

- Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings or similar environments
- Knowledge of child development principles, special education needs, and inclusive childcare practices
- Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable to support diverse families and staff
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently during busy shifts
- Leadership qualities to supervise staff effectively while maintaining a nurturing environment
- Proficiency in computer operation for record keeping, documentation, and communication purposes
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is preferred
- Valid certifications in childcare or early childhood education are advantageous
