Our client is a growing boutique commercial real estate finance firm with an established reputation in the Canadian market. The firm provides CMHC-insured, conventional, bridge, and mezzanine financing across multifamily, commercial real estate, and land. This is a hands-on prospect for someone who wants significant ownership of the funding process, direct exposure to senior leadership, and the ability to help shape processes within a growing platform.
Responsibilities:
Manage commercial mortgage transactions from commitment through funding and closing
Coordinate with borrowers, legal counsel, insurers, and other third parties
Review loan documentation and ensure funding conditions are satisfied
Support post-closing administration and loan servicing
Assist with underwriting and transaction analysis as required
Manage multiple transactions while maintaining accuracy and deadlines
Identify prospects to improve processes and efficiencies
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in commercial mortgage funding, loan closing, mortgage administration, or commercial real estate finance
Strong understanding of commercial mortgage transactions and funding processes
CMHC experience is highly preferred
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Self-starter who takes initiative and enjoys working in a cooperative environment
Experience with a bank, mortgage lender, MIC, or commercial real estate finance platform is an asset
