environmental health and safety, and Pliteq policy requirementsCompleting special projects as required from time to timeTravel domestically for the purposes of training and equipment procurementMaintain and keep current on skilled Millwright designations and licensesAll other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSCertified Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A)Completion of secondary school and a recognized Millwright Apprenticeship Program or equivalentAt least 4 years of experience working as a Millwright in an industrial Manufacturing settingStrong mechanical knowledge and electrical knowledge an assetAbility to work with pumps, motors, conveying equipment, hydraulic equipment and large industrial machinesAbility to troubleshoot equipment issuesWorking knowledge of local and Canadian electrical and safety codesAdvanced working knowledge of electrical, PLC programming, and motor controlsAbility to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics and manuals for equipment Ability to problem-solve and execute solution, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environmentAbility to manage multiple task and prioritize while staying organizedDemonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional team members Able to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to work at heights (training will be provided)Demonstrated leadership and work ethicProven ability to adapt to changing priorities and working conditionsExperience using Maintenance Software programsCounterbalance forklift certification and experience is considered an assetWelding Certification an assetElevated work platform certification an asset
