Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately install and troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Install wiring, outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components in new construction or renovation sites.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks efficiently.
- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and testing equipment; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Work with low voltage systems such as security alarms, data cabling, or programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation projects.




- Follow all safety protocols and local electrical codes to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborate with construction teams, project managers, and clients to meet project deadlines and specifications.

Experience

- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), and renovation projects.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, along with power tools like drills and saws.
- Familiarity with electrical codes, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Additional handyman experience or general construction background is a plus.
