The Academy for Mathematics & English tutors students from SK to grade 12. We are currently recruiting Enthusiastic & Knowledgeable candidates to be our English tutor for our BRAMPTON (West) location.

The Ideal Candidate is:

- Passionate about teaching. Is bright, enthusiastic, motivated, good-natured, positive and inspiring to students
- Is able to teach Ontario Curriculum
- Has taught in Canada as a tutor or a teacher
- Must be able to teach literature to high school students.
- Able to make learning enjoyable, motivate and reinforce a positive outlook on education

- Is organized, reliable, consistent and confident

Tutor must be able to tutor English from grades 1 to grade 12 with an emphasis on High School English. Must be able to tutor the following subject areas: Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Writing, Essay Writing/Structure




- Tutors work with the same students on a daily/weekly basis
- Sessions are held in the evenings and/or weekends
- Tutors are not required to prepare lesson plans and the teaching curriculum is provided
- This is a permanent part-time position

Requirements:

- Candidates must have a degree in the related fields or currently studying in them
- Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English.
- A minimum of 1-year tutoring experience
- Candidates should be available Monday to Friday from 3.30pm. to 7:30pm. and Saturday from 10:00am. to 1:00pm.
- Candidates must be available for In-Person Tutoring.

Job Type: Part time Pay: $22.00 per hour
