Job Title: Epic HIM Analyst

Location: Canada - Remote

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Epic Health Information Management (HIM) Analyst to support the implementation, configuration, optimization, testing, and ongoing maintenance of Epic HIM applications and workflows.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Epic HIM , health information management workflows, medical records, document management, release of information, and clinical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze HIM business requirements and translate them into Epic system solutions.
- Configure and maintain Epic HIM application functionality and workflows.
- Support medical records and health information management processes.
- Support Release of Information (ROI) workflows and related processes.
- Configure and troubleshoot document management and clinical record workflows.
- Work closely with HIM professionals, clinicians, compliance teams, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
- Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and optimization projects.
- Perform application configuration, testing, validation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
- Investigate and resolve production issues and application defects.
- Maintain documentation for requirements, workflows, configurations, and testing.
- Support Epic upgrade and release activities.
- Collaborate with other Epic application teams to ensure integrated workflows.
- Provide application support, training,



and knowledge transfer to end users.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT/HIM systems preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Epic HIM.
- Strong understanding of Health Information Management and medical-record workflows.
- Experience with Epic implementation, configuration, testing, upgrades, optimization, or production support.
- Current Epic HIM certification is mandatory, if required by the client/project.
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
