OverviewAssistant Buyer role at T & T Supermarket. Reporting to the Category Manager, the Assistant Buyer is responsible for providing assistance and support to the Buying team of the assigned category by coordinating with internal departments and external suppliers from local and overseas, generating and analyzing performance data and reports, following up on project timelines, actions required, marketing POPs and other matters related to the assigned product category.ResponsibilitiesAssist buying team to communicate and follow up with local and overseas vendors of the products category assignedLiaise with internal departments and stores on promotional campaigns, marketing materials, project timelines, follow-up actions and matters related to product launchesGenerate periodic or ad hoc reports related to store sales, inventory, category and special eventsProvide data analysis, administrative and clerical support and other duties as assigned by the supervisorPrepare marketing and promotion materials, including translating messages in English and ChineseQualificationsCompleted post-secondary education in Business, Marketing or related disciplinesKnowledge,
