These aren't necessarily two identical positions.
For the right candidates, one position may lead to a Shop Foreman role, while the other may have the opportunity for rotation work in the USA.
WE'RE LOOKING FOR TECHS WHO KNOW THEIR SH*T
We're not looking for apprentices or someone who needs constant supervision.
We want experienced Journeymen who can diagnose, repair and actually finish jobs properly.
You should be comfortable with:
- Ford Power Stroke, Ram/Cummins and GM Duramax
- Advanced diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
- Engine repair and replacement
- Fuel systems, injectors and turbos
- Transmissions and driveline
- Steering and suspension
- Diesel emissions systems
- Performance and modified trucks
- Gas vehicles and light-duty trucks
- Properly documenting your work
- Working efficiently without sacrificing quality
You don't need to know absolutely everything. Nobody does. But you do need to be experienced, resourceful and capable of figuring things out without someone holding your hand and do a damn good job!.
WANT TO MOVE INTO A FOREMAN POSITION?
One of these positions may develop into a Shop Foreman role for the right person.
We're looking for someone who can still turn wrenches and diagnose difficult problems but also has the ability to lead a shop.
That means helping technicians when they're stuck, keeping work moving, maintaining quality standards and dealing with problems instead of walking past them.
You don't necessarily need "Shop Foreman" on your current résumé.
If you're already the person everyone in your shop relies on, we want to hear from you.
INTERESTED IN ROTATION WORK IN THE USA?
For one successful candidate, there may also be an opportunity for rotation-based work in the United States.
We're looking for an experienced, dependable technician who would be interested in travelling and working a rotation while remaining part of the S&M; Diesel team.
