Industrial Plastics & Paints is hiring a full-time Experienced Plastic/Metal Fabricator for our Kelowna location. This role involves cutting, drilling, bending, machining, and polishing plastic components from sheet stock and fabricated parts for a wide variety of customer applications.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of fabrication experience, be comfortable working with shop equipment and hand tools, and be able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience operating CNC routers is considered a strong asset.

Successful candidates are hands-on problem solvers who enjoy building and creating products with precision and take pride in producing quality work. Experience in plastics, woodworking, cabinetmaking, fabrication, manufacturing, or similar trades will be considered.

You will work closely with both customers and team members to produce fabricated plastic components while maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

- Available for full-time hours, Monday - Friday from 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Saturday availability preferred.

Capabilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications to accurately fabricate products.
- Safely operate fabrication and woodworking equipment including table saws, routers, drill presses, sanders, and other shop machinery.




- Ask detailed application questions from customers to provide technical guidance and advice about product solutions for their project needs.
- Create detailed hand-sketches with dimensions from customers' verbal instructions.
- Sit-Down Forklift certification required (Must be Current)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Package, Box, Label and Ship products for customer order fulfillment.
- Interact with Shipping and Freight companies to receive and send warehouse shipments once produced.
