About Us

Toronto Athletic Gymnastics (TAG Performance Studio) is a rapidly growing gymnastics facility dedicated to creating a fun, safe, and inspiring environment for athletes of all ages. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Recreational Gymnastics Coach to lead quality programming, mentor developing coaches, and help create exceptional experiences for athletes and families.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will:

- Lead recreational gymnastics classes for athletes ages 18 months to 12 years, creating engaging, safe, and progressive learning experiences.
- Contribute to lesson planning and program development while maintaining TAG coaching standards.
- Participate in team training days, coach development workshops, and ongoing professional learning opportunities.
- Provide technical instruction and feedback appropriate to athlete age and skill level.
- Mentor and support junior coaches and coaches-in-training, contributing to the development of TAG's coaching team.
- Maintain a safe training environment and uphold Gymnastics Ontario standards.
- Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, and fellow staff.

- Evening and weekend availability required
- Additional hours may be available through camps, birthday parties, special events,



and substitute coaching opportunities

Qualifications

- Foundations Introduction certification(required)
- NCCP certification (required)
- Minimum 1-2 years of recreational gymnastics coaching experience
- Solid knowledge of gymnastics progressions and safe spotting techniques
- Standard First Aid and CPR (an asset, but not required)
- Competition 1 in WAG/TRAMP (an asset, but not required)
- Language: English (required)
- Legally eligible to work in Canada

Compensation Starting Pay: $20.00-$28.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
