We are a busy tree service company serving the Lower Mainland and are looking for an experienced Tree Climber / Arborist to join our crew.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable working independently in the tree and has experience with residential tree pruning, removals, rigging, and safe climbing practices.

Responsibilities

- Climbing and working safely in trees of various sizes
- Tree pruning, thinning, reductions, and removals
- Performing technical removals and rigging when required
- Operating chainsaws and other tree care equipment safely
- Working efficiently with ground crew
- Maintaining a safe and organized job site
- Communicating well with the crew and following job instructions

Requirements:
- Previous skilled tree climbing experience
- Confident and competent with tree pruning and removals
- Experience with climbing systems, rigging, and chainsaws
- Strong understanding of job-site and climbing safety
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a crew
- Physically capable of performing tree work




- Valid driver's licence
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for transportation
- Must have steel-toe work boots, high-visibility clothing, and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- ISA Arborist Certification is recommended
- BC Faller Training Standard (BCFTS) certification is recommended

Position:
- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday
- Work at various job sites throughout the Lower Mainland
- $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience and ability
- Opportunity for long-term employment
