About the role

We are seeking a professional, enthusiastic female sports coach to lead physical education, fitness, and sports activities for middle and high school girls.

The successful candidate will create a safe, encouraging environment where students develop athletic skills, teamwork, discipline, and healthy habits. This role requires someone who can plan structured sessions, engage students of different abilities, and uphold the school’s Islamic values.

Key responsibilities

- Plan and lead age-appropriate sports, fitness, and physical education sessions.
- Teach fundamental movement skills, sport techniques, game rules, and sportsmanship.
- Encourage participation, confidence, and improvement among students of all ability levels.
- Coach school teams and help organize practices, intramural activities, and competitions.
- Promote teamwork, respect, perseverance, and fair play.
- Maintain appropriate supervision and follow school safety procedures.
- Use suitable warm-ups, cool-downs, and activities that support safe participation.
- Manage sports equipment and ensure activity spaces are organized and safe.
- Track attendance and student progress, and communicate with school staff and parents as needed.
- Model professionalism and support a respectful workplace consistent with Islamic values.

Qualifications and requirements





- Relevant experience coaching or teaching sports to middle or high school students.
- Training or qualifications in coaching, physical education, kinesiology, recreation, or a related field.
- Strong group management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt activities to different fitness levels, abilities, and learning needs.
- A patient, motivating approach and commitment to student well-being.
- Understanding of appropriate modesty and privacy in girls’ physical education within an Islamic school.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification, or willingness to obtain it before starting.
- Ability to meet school safeguarding and vulnerable sector screening requirements.
- Availability Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Preferred: Recognized coaching certification and experience organizing school sports programs or coaching competitive teams.
