The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring safety,quality, preventive maintenance and operational readinessacross theorganization.KEYRESPONSIBILITIESShopOperations & SupervisionSupervise and coordinate daily shop activities and employeesPlan work according to operational priorities and deadlinesMonitor productivity and ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently and onscheduleProvide direction, coaching and support to employees and apprenticesMaintain a clean, organized and safe shop environmentCoordinate closely with Operations Manager regarding manpower, equipment and upcomingjobsQualityControlOversee quality control of work completed in the shopInspect completed work before equipment, fabricated items or materials arereleased for field use or deliveryEnsure work meets JTR standards, drawings, specifications and applicableclient requirementsIdentify deficiencies and ensure corrective work is completedPromote consistent workmanship and continuous improvement throughout the shopFleet& Asset ManagementOversee the condition and readiness of JTR's fleet, tools, equipment andother company assetsEnsure vehicles and equipment are inspected, maintained and available foroperational requirementsTrack reported deficiencies and ensure repairs are properly scheduled andcompletedCoordinate servicing and repairs with approved service providers whenrequiredMonitor the proper use and care of company vehicles,



tools and equipmentHelp maintain accurate records of company assets, inspections, maintenanceand repairsReport damaged, missing or improperly maintained company property toManagementManage and support JTR's preventive maintenance program forvehicles, machinery and equipmentMonitor maintenance schedules, service intervals and upcoming inspectionrequirementsEnsure preventive maintenance is completed before equipment becomes overdueCoordinate planned maintenance to minimize disruption to operationsMaintain appropriate maintenance records and documentationIdentify recurring equipment issues and recommend corrective or preventivemeasuresWork with Operations to ensure equipment required for upcoming projects isinspected and ready before deploymentSafety& ComplianceParticipate in toolbox talks, hazard assessments and required safetydocumentationEnsure tools and equipment are safe and appropriate for useImmediately address unsafe conditions, damaged equipment and other hazardsReport incidents, near misses, equipment damage and other concerns asrequiredQUALIFICATIONSTheideal candidate will have:Previous supervisory experience in an industrial, welding, fabrication,millwright, mechanical or similar environmentStrong knowledge of shop operations and industrial equipmentExperience with fleet, equipment,
